Funny Girl....

When our friend Maureen came to visit and brought us our little Mia, she went home with two cats she recued while here. Meet Sugar, she is beautiful and sweet girl, Maureen tells me that she is always doing something funny just like our little comedian Mia. The other day Maureen left this cabinet open and Sugar found it to be a very interesting place. I think she might have been looking for the fish oil.

Fourth Birthday!

My little Mia has now turned 4 and I didn’t get her anything special this year. However I did take her today to get her nails trimmed, but I don’t think she’s counting that. She doesn’t like hats and certainly didn’t like this one, is probably thinking oh no Halloween is just around the corner what will I have be dressed as this year.

Go Inside

Today I was watching Sophia while Susy was doing a few things. We had fun she is a real pleasure and I truly enjoyed having her today. Sophia likes Jerzee Girl and Mia and thinks that Boops is fresh, and today Boops was on one of her barking kicks. At one point I yelled at Boops to go inside, she did but came back out and started again Sophia told me to yell at Boops again. So I told Sophia to yell at her and she did .....a good job of it too.

Showing Off

Jerzee Girl was very happy with hair appointment at her last grooming. She even kept her bow in for a week and that's not the case it is usually out within the hour. maybe she liked the colors of it this time.

Attention Please

Mia doesn't like when I spend time on the desktop computer and now that I am using my laptop more she gets to be closer to me. Today she sat on the arm of the couch peeking around the laptop screen just watching and waiting for me to get off.

It's Mine!

Both Mia & Jerzee Girl are 3 years old but you can see there is definitely a size difference. When Maureen bought Mia to us she put this big stuffed duck in her carry on so she wouldn't get hurt because she was so small. Jerzee likes to play with it at times, and Mia doesn't want to share it. The duck is even bigger than Mia, but that doesn't stop her from taking it away from Jerzee.

Centerpiece

Betty Boop always wants to be the center of attention, so I thought I'd put her on our coffee table as a decoration. As you see she enjoyed being on display.

10 Today!

Today is Betty Boop's 10th birthday. She was good about wearing the birthday hat and really enjoyed her special birthday treat from daddy. Of course Mia and Jerzee got some of that treat also.

Sharing

I got tire of Jerzee Girl trying to fit on Mia’s little couch, so for her birthday I got her this bean bag chair. Well that didn’t go over to well with Mia who thinks that everything is hers. Jerzee Girl wasn’t getting out of her chair so Mia jumped right in with her. Of course Mia now has her very own also, but still goes on Jerzee’s every now and then.

Pretty In Pink

Betty Boop decided she wasn't wearing her Easter bonnet this year, but didn't seem to mind the bow.

Third

Today Jerzee Girl turned three, and for the next six months she and Mia will be the same age. She was happy with all her special treats and new toy even though Mia thought it should be hers. Her new red party dress looked really cute on her, but she wasn’t fond of the party hat. Jerzee’s special present hasn’t arrived and I’m sure Mia will try to confiscate that also.

I Found Them

Since I was having lots of family and friends for Christmas, to be safe I thought it best to keep the little ones in our bedroom. Knowing that they are not use to being confined I placed a gate across the doorway so they could at least see the happenings. When Blaze arrived he immediately went looking for them as he loves having them around him. He loves watching Mia play and Zee is always very close by him and will actually lie down next to him. It didn't take long for him to discover that they were behind the gate, now he just needed to learn how to get them out. What surprised me was that all three were on my bed at the same time, that was a first.

I fit?

Since my last post was of Mia on her mini couch, I thought I should follow up with Jerzee Girl who also thinks its just her size. Lately she seems to be on it often.

Just My Size

The little ones are always interested in getting something new. When I ordered this couch a while back I didn’t realize it was meant to be a bed for a ferret (don’t tell Mia that). But as you can see Mia has now claimed it as hers. She thinks it’s a perfect fit just for her. Jerzee Girl has been watching her lay in it and is trying to fit in it also, it’s like the stepsisters trying to fit in Cinderella’s slipper.

Do Not Disturb

Since my little Mia has been ill I keep a very close eye on her. Today she seemed to be very tired and did not want to get up and out of the bed, and she didn’t want me disturbing her either. When it was almost noon I went in and made her get up, I should have known that you can not make Mia do anything she doesn’t want to0, as you can see she just laid down in the hall and went right back to sleep.

Happy Birthday Princess Mia

Today was Mia’s 3rd birthday, so she dressed up for the party. Mia is our little princess she loved her dress but did not like her fairy tale headpiece. She was much happier when the hat came off, and of course we had cake and she got to have some icing so that made things even better.

Lupo & Opul

My friend sent me these pictures of her doggies, I just had to share them and the little ones didn’t mine them being in the spot light. Lupo is her Jack Russell whom she had for a while, and Opul the Vizsla is new to the family. I just love the alertness of Lupo and Opuls eyes. I remember when she was thinking of getting another dog and I told her “two are more fun than one” I hope she found this to be true.
The Jack Russell
Jack Russell Terrier was developed in 19th century England by a clergyman named Jack Russell. A sturdy, tough terrier, very merry and much on its toes all the time. They are spirited, obedient, intelligent, yet absolutely fearless and a devoted and loving dog. If you give them an inch they can become willful and determined to take a mile.
The Vizsla
Its name "Vizsla" in Hungarian means, "Pointer” and originated in Hungary in the 8th century as a hunting dog. They excel in retrieving, and are capable of covering difficult terrain. Vizslas are friendly, lively, and affectionate with their family and those they know. They have an easy going nature and make an excellent companion, eager to please and quick to learn. Yet they are also alert and watchful.

On Guard

I was watching my great grandson and so was Zee Zee. She loves the baby and always wants to be near him. However I soon realized that her concentration was not on the baby but how she was going to get that toy away from him.
